Position Description:

The Data Center Operations Specialist (DCOS) position requires a highly motivated operations specialist/manager with experience in data center facility operations (or other business-critical facility management environments). The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in creating and implementing multi-facility, standards based Operations and Maintenance programs with emphasis on risk mitigation and change management. Must have the ability to analyze processes, create process documentation, write operational procedures and communicate effectively with both management personnel and facility engineers.

The Company is a leading global provider of Data Center Operations and Maintenance programs. The DCOS will provide support for the rollout of the Company’s Facility Operations service in Russia, and provide ongoing program support once the service is established. The DCOS will also assist in developing process documentation, conduct Operational Audits and develop training materials as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between the local Operations and Business Development teams, and the English speaking Offer Management team.

· Supervise the translation of English language operational documents into the local language.

· Provide proofreading and technical editing of translated process and technical documentation.

· Oversee the implementation of the Quality program in the Facility Operations offering.

· Assist with business development activities in meetings with potential customers.

· Create and teach/assist others in the creation of technical procedures for critical facility Operations and Maintenance (O&M).

· Perform review of operational documents for technical accuracy, adherence to operational requirements, and quality with respect to technical writing and format.

· Perform quality audits of the O&M program.

· Study, recommend and implement industry best practices into the local program.

· Provide feedback to management for the continuous improvement of the Facility Operations service.

· Develop process documentation and training materials.

· Assist with mobilization and training of data center Facility Engineering teams.

· Travel to other regions to train on and assist with their service offerings.

Qualifications

Higher education degree with experience in critical facility environments.

· Experience implementing standards based programs in a multi-facility environment.

· Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

· Knowledge of quality principles and programs desirable.

· Strong English language oral & written communication skills required.
